How It Works
Step 1: Spot Something
Browse the platform. Find a component, page, or feature that could be better.
Step 2: Improve It
- Designers: Create a better mockup
- Developers: Submit working code
- Writers: Write clearer copy
- UX Experts: Map a better flow
Step 3: Submit
Send your improvement to: improvements@lianabanyan.org
Include:
- What you improved
- Before/after (if applicable)
- Why it’s better
- Your LB username (if you have one)
Step 4: Review
Our team reviews submissions within 48 hours. If accepted:
- Credits appear in your account
- Your name appears in contributor credits
- Component gets updated

- ✅ Maintain the platform’s personality
DON’T:
- ❌ Use JavaScript where CSS works
- ❌ Break existing functionality
- ❌ Ignore mobile users
- ❌ Make it “generic AI slop”
- ❌ Remove the character

How do I know what needs improvement?
Look for the “Can You Do Better?” link at the bottom of any component. Or just use the platform and notice what frustrates you.
What if my improvement isn’t accepted?
We’ll tell you why and give feedback. Often small adjustments make a submission acceptable.
Can I earn Joules instead of Credits?
For major contributions (500+ Credits), you can request partial payment in Platform Joules (long-term ownership value).
What if someone else submits the same improvement?
First valid submission wins. Timestamps matter.
Can teams submit together?
Yes! Just list all contributors. Credits split as you specify.
